I have been going to Nicola for MFR (Myofascial Release) and massage on and off for 2.5 years now with chronic joint issues and chronic health conditions affecting my nervous system and energy levels. She has always been so welcoming, warm and kind and has a very relaxing calm energy. She works incredibly gently and yet produces such powerful results. She un-froze my shoulder in one session once and I felt like my shoulder had been sprayed with WD40! I was amazed after having such restricted mobility before! I have stopped going to physio and instead continue my sessions with Nicola. I would absolutely recommend Glow Therapies, especially for people who are sensitive.

Having a rare genetic condition, I have trialled many professional therapies and therapists, spanning many years to try to manage pain levels.

I was recommended Myofascial Release by specialists and found Nicola’s website. Having had a few treatments from Nicola now, I can genuinely say that her skills and work ethic are absolutely spot on.  You are always listened to and never rushed.  The treatments are centred around what your needs are at that time.  It’s wonderful that Nicola has many strings to her bow, so you can vary treatments, according to what’s needed. 

The environment is calming and I always leave feeling renewed.  Our modern World is so busy and chaotic, when having a treatment the noise/stress/anxiety dissipates.

I was diagnosed by my doctor with osteoarthritis, the x-ray showing ‘severe degenerative changes to my right knee’. My choice was to have the standard allopathic treatment which I chose not to have – at this stage. When I saw Nicola for the first time, I had a very painful and swollen knee, a painful hip and back. After 4 treatments, I had no pain in both my hip and back, the knee swelling had greatly reduced with hardly any pain. After the fifth treatment, I have no pain at all. I presume this treatment is not a permanent cure but I’m impressed by her care, professionality and the effect of her MFR treatment. During the sessions, she explained the process and was always reassuring and had excellent follow-through. I am now sold on myofascia relief and Nicola’s treatment.

This Summer (2015) I had Ear Candling treatment at Glow Therapies. It was lovely and relaxing and the 1st treatment started to clear my sinuses. I’d been struggling with sinus headaches (antibiotics had not helped) and by the 3rd treatment they had cleared and the problems have not returned ….
